Mapping out the Marionette

• I created a plan on paper of the pieces of wood I will need to make the marionette. I based the sizing of each piece to make a marionette aproximately 30cm tall.

• Once competed I cut out the templates and transferred them onto the block of wood that I would be using.

• Using a bandsaw I cut the required pieces from the block of wood.

• Before final rough shaping with the saw, I draw the shapes required to make the marionette fit together.

Next time... I begin to shape the pieces of puppet using a knife.
